My name is Björn Vaughn, I am 26 years old. British, American, mostly European with a gringo twang. A translator, a photographer, a digital nomad. I take pictures, write and draw, living my life to the full and to the best of my ability. I was born in Spain, schooled in Germany, my grandmother was Swedish before she passed away. My brother was born in France and lives in Berlin, my other brother was born in Hamburg and lives in Shanghai; my sister just aced her exams and finally restored the family academic honour. Uncle Thierry, semi native American, lived with Eskimos for over a year, and our Russian ancestry is yet to be explored. Artur da Silva Bernardes, president of Brazil (1922-26), was an ancestor of ours. Dad is a musician with a preference for Irish folk music, mom an author of three fantasy novels for young teenagers. In this picture from Cambodia I'm wearing shoes from Australia, shorts from Germany, a shirt from Thailand, underwear from the States and a hat from Portugal - I know it sounds exciting but I'm pretty sure it was all made in China. |
